Sponsorship Available: Finding and Creating Joy in Work course

Specialists are invited to participate in the next cohort of the Finding and Creating Joy in Work course offered online by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

The next cohort starts September 14, 2021 and runs for 12 weeks.

Participants will learn about proven quality improvement methods that can help create a positive work environment that fosters camaraderie, meaning, choice, and equity, and ensures the commitment to delivering high-quality care. Read about the first group who participated in the course.

Physicians are eligible to receive sponsorship for tuition costs through our Physician Leadership Program.  

To get involved, physicians can:

  1. Register for the course.
  2. Before starting the course, submit a completed scholarship application to jcctraining@doctorsofbc.ca;  VP of medicine's signature is not required for this course.
  3. Upon completing the course, for reimbursement of tuition costs, submit a claim form, receipt of registration, and certificate of completion, as well as complete a post-training survey.
