Specialists Symposium 2022

Notice: December 07, 2021

We regret to inform you that our Specialists Symposium on January 21, 2022 in Vancouver is postponed.

This difficult decision was made after carefully monitoring and considering the evolving extreme weather events and coronavirus pandemic. While we are as dedicated as ever to collaborating with you on how to improve specialty care, your safety comes first.

Recognizing that this change may cause inconveniences for you, we wanted to provide you with adequate advance notice so that you can reschedule your day. As well, we are reimbursing registrants for non-refundable costs incurred related to travel to this event; this may include air travel or hotel accommodation. For reimbursement, please complete this Reimbursement Form and send to sscbc@doctorsofbc.ca  by January 31, 2022. Please ensure you include all receipts with your completed form.

We thank you for your understanding and are looking forward to hosting you in the future. We will communicate further updates once alternative options including a new target date for the Specialists Symposium are set.

Sincerely,
Dr Ahmer Karimuddin, Doctors of BC Co-chair, Specialists Services Committee
Mr Ryan Murray, Ministry of Health Co-chair, Specialists Services Committee
