The Hip Fracture Redesign project began in eight pilot sites and is now being extended to all acute care centre who provide hip fracture care. SSC provided the funding for the pilot and the expansion.The project’s overall purpose is to increase the positive outcomes for patients who suffer a hip fracture, particularly in the elderly.
