What is it?
The Specialists Well-Being pilot (SWELL) aims to enhance the well-being of health care specialists by addressing critical system issues that impact their work environment. Enhancing physician well-being involves a two pronged approach, while education and resilience training for physicians account for 20% of the solution, addressing systemic issues is essential and represents the remaining 80% of the effort needed to improve work environments for physicians.
SWELL is an innovative program that supports nimble projects tailored to the unique needs of specialists in various practice settings. By fostering improvements through locally driven initiatives, SWELL is committed to significantly enhancing physician wellness across diverse health care environments.
